Permanent Eyebrows

How are Permanent Brows done?

Permanent Brows are created using a permanent makeup machine that applies pigment to the eyebrow area without affecting the hair. Thickness color and shape can be customized according to your goals and current brows. Results last up to 3 years. Topical numbing is used as often as needed for comfort.

Types of Brows

  • Hairstroke brows (upgraded microblading )

Hairstroke brows are machine hair strokes that follow your natural brow pattern and brow hair color. The most natural looking brow that creates fullness and shape without harsh lines.

Brow removal is done by machine and tattooed in the skin using a saline solution that breaks up the old ink over the course of 6 weeks and is eliminated through the bodies natural lymphatic system. Removal is needed when old work done by another artist is to bold, uneven or not the result you wanted. If you’re wanting a Hairstroke brow but have dark previous work. Removal is recommended.

 FAQs

  • Microblading involves using a tiny blade that is dipped into ink and cuts into the skin to create hair strokes. Not only is this very traumatizing to the skin, it scars the skin and only lasts up to a year becoming blotchy and discolored over time. Hairstroke brows are created by a needle (3x smaller than an insulin needle) gently entering into the top layer of skin. This technique is less traumatizing to the skin with great natural results. It lasts up to 3 years.

  • Topical numbing is used during the procedure and as often as needed. There is little to no pain.

  • The procedure from start to finish takes 2-3 hours. Typically the ink will last up to 3 years. Longevity comes down to skin type and protecting it from the sun, and certain skincare products.

  • Choosing the right brow style will come down to a few things. What do you currently do with your brows:filling them in , tinting or nothing. How much brow hair do you have. And most importantly what are your goals. If you schedule a brow style but are not sure which one is best we can always go over the options in person at your appointment first before starting.
